There is little doubt that if this was any other person, they would not have gone to the length they have, especially for a civil case. In March 2006, the Lothian and Borders Police were asked to investigate a corrupt cop, Richard Munro, in the case of fitting up Steven Johnston and Billy Allison on a murder charge, which they spent 10 years in prison as innocent men. This was months before Tommy Sheridan's trial had even started, yet we are still waiting the outcome of their investigation into this corrupt officer. Lord Gills appeal judgement on March 2006 (see www.mojoscotland.com) stated "[54] With the exception of WPC Givan, the other officers from the enquiry team who gave evidence did not impress us. There is no evidence directly implicating any of them individually in the suppression or alteration of statements; but, despite the senior ranks that some of them now hold, we were not satisfied that they told us the whole truth. It was our clear impression that they kn! ew more than they were prepared to admit." Well if Lord Gill thought that they weren't telling the whole truth is that not a lie, and why then haven't charges been brought against these high ranking Police Officers Another case ignored by the press that of William Gage, this February Paddy Hill put complaints in about possible perjury charges against witnesses in the trial of William Gage, where their obvious lies put an innocent man in behind bars for murder, and he was sentenced to 25 years, a little bit more serious than Tommy Sheridans trial, yet we still wait to hear if their will be charges brought. Their is one law for us, and it would seem, no laws for them. As Paddy Hill said outside the old Bailey when they eventually released the Birmingham 6 "they're rotten they couldn't spell justice never mind dispense it"
